Royal Polling, My New Favorite Kennedy, Baby Reindeer, and a Little Surprise
Let’s get right into it, shall we?

According to The Daily Beast, King Charles ordered working royals to attend the Buckingham Palace Garden Party—which was held at the same time as The Invictus Games’ Service of Thanksgiving at St. Paul’s Cathedral. It doesn’t seem that far-fetched, but notably we do not have a source—nary an unnamed one!—in regards to KC’s ‘command’.
The British Media has spent a lot of time this week talking about how Prince Harry is all alone—cast out from his family. Seems like they forgot about the other side of his family:
"[…]imagine that a member of the Royal Family needs to hire a PR expert in the country they were born. That's unbelievable,” said TalkTV’s Jeremy Kyle.
He’s right, IMAGINE having to hire a spin doctor just to get the country you were born in to accept your partner…oh wait that was Charles and Camilla in the ‘90s.
This is why we need to teach real history in schools.
Now, crowd size isn’t everything (neither is polling), but I don’t know, seems like a good-sized crowd for a Wednesday in London.
If you want to read my deep dive next week into the above article & disingenuous use of poll numbers by the media, upgrade to my paid tier. (It allows me to do this work, plus you get bonus content each week.)
Talk About Profile’s in Courage
How was I only today year’s old when I learned that the Kennedy youths did their own version of the celebrity “Imagine” video during the Covid lockdown, but instead sang an off-pitch rendition of “Timber” by Kesha and Pitbull? Inspired. Also, if you’re not following JFK’s only grandson on IG—Jake Schlossberg, son of JFK’s daughter, Caroline Kennedy—you’re doing it wrong. He looks just like his uncle, JFK Jr., is delightfully chaotic in his IG stories and reads his uncle, RFK, for filth in different accents.

The Winner of Vanderpump Rules’ Season 11 Finale?
Is therapy. The winner was therapy.
I’m considering going back and watching S1 E1 and Tuesday night’s episode—which felt more like a series finale than a season finale—and writing about it. If this was the end, I think Ariana can walk away with her head held high. I saw someone on Twitter say that Ariana might be the better person between her and Tom Sandoval, but not the better co-worker. She didn’t play along with the narrative arc production was pushing: A Sandoval redemption season. Tom dropped his mask and showed his hand at the end when he was caught on a hot mic as Ariana left the party, unwilling to engage with her ex of 10 years.
Good for her.
Selling Sunset Season 3
Apparently someone woke up Sean and told him if he didn’t produce the goods this season he was going to go the way of Lauren. And, wow, did he ever.
Do I think Sean is messy? Yes. Do I believe what he said about Austin and Lisa based on Austin’s reaction and the fact that Austin admitted to seeing a cast member at a SWINGERS PARTY last year? Also yes.
I Gave In and Started Baby Reindeer
I can’t explain it, but the more people gush over a show, the less likely I am to watch it. I will eventually watch it, 5 years after the fact. I can’t deal with the pressure of watching a new show that everyone is binging. It makes me anxious.
With that said, I am very glad that I listened to Amye of
and started Baby Reindeer. The writing is truly exceptional, the episodes are delicious 30 minute morsels, and the story would be unbelievable—except for the fact that it’s true.I heard through the grapevine (Twitter, it was Twitter) that Piers Morgan interviewed the woman Baby Reindeer is based on. Do we think he was just looking for some tips?
As a Matta of Fact…

“the more people gush over a show, the less likely I am to watch it”
That’s why I never watched Titanic… I guess I’m not alone in my madness!
The fact that the Windsors made what they clearly thought were clever moves to shun the Sussexes only to have Spencer reverse uno card slammed on the table? Priceless! The PR misstep from Charles, and I do believe this came directly from Charles, shows him as both petty and inept.
