Every few weeks the British Media likes to remind readers that Meghan and Harry’s popularity continues to plummet—hence the constant negative coverage 4.5 years later is somehow warranted.

A recent poll proved no different as self-styled royal experts gleefully reported on the Duke and Duchess of Sussex occupying the 2nd and 3rd lowest spots (at the bottom was Prince Andrew).

Instead of rolling my eyes and moving on, I decided to tug on a thread. Here’s where it led me.
